TriStar Appoints New Regional Sales Director for Eastern U.S.

Phoenix, AZ – September 23, 2009 – TriStar Inc., PTC’s largest reseller, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Dwight Griffith to the position of regional director eastern sales, effective October 1, 2009.

Griffith comes to TriStar from PTC, where he most recently held the position of vice president, Pro/ENGINEER product sales group, during which time he successfully drove worldwide sales for Pro/ENGINEER products and services.

“With TriStar’s expansion in North America and our commitment to grow our sales capacity, together with our alliance with PTC, it makes a lot of sense to work with PTC to bring on some of their top talent to our management ranks,” said TriStar President Patrick Maderia.

Based in Boston, MA, Griffith will work closely with PTC to oversee TriStar’s sales in the eastern U.S. “Having our headquarters in Phoenix has always allowed us to be strong in the West,” Maderia said. “With Dwight heading our partnership with PTC in the East, it really gives us a second corporate location in Boston to help lead our charge in the eastern region.”

Griffith graduated from Hobart College in New York with a degree in economics and has more than 18 years experience in the software industry. Throughout his 16-year tenure with PTC, he held a variety of positions from sales representative through vice president, with most of his focus on the Pro/ENGINEER product family.
